By measuring the diameter of the halo, it is possible to list the essential oils according to their antimicrobial spectrum.
- If the diameter of the light area is between 2 and 3 millimeters, the Essential Oil is moderately active on the germ tested. It is given two pluses (++)
- If the diameter of the light area measure more than 3 millimeters, the Essential Oil is very active. Its antimicrobial spectrum is awarded three pluses (+++)
- If there is no light area, the E.O. is not at all active on the germ tested It will be discarded.
